This 3 year 2 month old patient easily tolerated these restorations consisting of SDF (black staining) and a resin modified cavity fighting filling. No shots were used or tears shed and everybody was all smiles for this appointment.

There is some discoloring because these fillings are made to fight the underlying cause of the cavities. It is a great balance of function, ease of placement (these patients are usually under 5 years old), and esthetics!
